OK, this may be so "non-stock" that some may use the word "dumb" but it means we don't have to paint the whole car.  Soooo bonus there!

The hood has always been a small mess.  There are multiple areas that need a just a tiny amount of help and one area that is very obvious.  Of the worst is the rust spot near the passenger fender/windshield.

There are little chips in the paint around the edge (sides) as well.  The goal is to have the body work done to repair the items near the windshield and buff out the paint where needed.  Only enough prep to wrap the hood is neeeded.  We are thinking about using the Vivvid Black Forged Carbon wrap will give use the look we want.  We like the juxtaposition between the old school classic with the new "cool kid" black hood. (our neighbors car is really the inspiration piece)

Our hood measures roughly 4' 8"x5' (Width to Length) so a single piece of 5x6ft should do it.  We have found that the wrap we want is sold in various lengths but has a max width of five feet.  We believe the chaotic nature of the design will help hide any inperfections of the hood repair.  The wrap can be found at: https://vvividshop.com/products/2020-vvivid-black-forged-carbon-fiber

Here is our M$Paint mock up.  While this is not perfect it gives the general idea.

We are looking at Wrap N' Graphics to do the work.
